Please print the audition form from the link below and bring it to your audition along with your $20.00 audition fee. You may call the office and let us know to expect you. If you wish to visit a rehearsal and audition after the rehearsal, we can arrange this also. Just call our office and let us know to expect you.
Please call 601-981-9863 to schedule an audition time, ask questions, or speak with one of our directors/conductors. The experience for the girls is quite pleasant and carried out in a joyful, positive manner. Girls in elementary grades will be asked to sing "My Country tis of Thee" and perform simple sing back patterns as well as read a few simple rhythms. Girls in junior high school and senior high school grades are asked to bring a prepared piece to the audition. It can be a simple church or school solo.
Membership in The Mississippi Girlchoir does require something from our girls besides their voices. We stress the importance of dedication, commitment and caring for one another and this community of singers.
We are a member-sponsored, tuition-based, nonprofit organization. Scholarships are available.
