The Mississippi Girlchoir is a non-profit, member-supported organization whose purpose is
to develop a dedicated and diverse community of young choral musicians who are committed to
upholding quality and artistry in music education. This purpose will be accomplished
through the disciplines of producing music regularly; practicing and improving the
musicianship skills associated with choral singing; and performing music with understanding,
artistry, and skill. These disciplines instill in these young singers qualities that
will last a lifetime.
